The High Force Centre was purchased by Darlington & District Youth & Community Association in February 2002, which is a registered charity whose mission statement is to ' work with people to promote social inclusion and strengthen communities'
The High Force Centre is part of a charity whose aims and objectives are to help people of all ages, through encouraging people to participate in a wide range of leisure time activities, either through a residential or activity day. People will learn the benefits of teamwork to overcome a range of challenges, thus giving people the chance to learn new skills, building self confidence and self-esteem.
We offer a variety of courses for young people and adults, such as survival team challenges, holidays and education through a range of outdoor activities such as Kayaking, canoeing, scrambling, gorge walking, mountaqineering, hill walking, High Ropes, caving raft building, mountain biking and many more
Self catering facilities now available, - really low prices starting from £11.00 per person per night (minimum no’s Apply)
Accommodation in the main house comprises of 3 x 6 bed dormitories, 1 x 8 bed dormitory plus 1 x 2 beds with en-suite.
Cottage available for hire – for 10 people from £110 per night self catering
Each residential group/party will have full exclusive use of the house.
A wide range of catering packages depending upon your budget, Bronze, Silver or Gold.

(This includes instructors ratio of 1:8, three meals per day and beverages throughout the day, transport from the centre to off site activities, equipment hire etc.)
